Using the right equipment for autistic children can make learning fun. These ergonomic training pencil grips improve handwriting, helps to give more control, and reduces hand fatigue that comes with writing the wrong way.
As a parent, your child’s independence is very important to you. Many children can be fussy when learning how to write, especially if they feel like they can’t hold their pencil the right way, or if they feel like they can’t learn from who’s teaching them. This leads to frustration from both parties.
This ergonomic pencil holder allows your child to hold their pencil the right way — on their own terms! After all, equipment for autistic children should be intuitive and approachable. They can learn at their own pace and will keep their positive habits even after they use this pencil holder. Think of it like training wheels on a bicycle.
Or, if your child prefers, he or she can use this pencil holder even after they’ve developed positive writing habits. Its comfortable and flexible design makes it long-lasting and appropriate for everyday use.
It can help prevent skin irritation and blisters, as well as discomfort that might come from pressing too hard with a pencil. However, we have other pencil grip styles if you want to test varying levels of comfort or find a grip for different levels of development, such as our Double Thumb holders and our PenAgain pens (mainly for older children).
No matter your child’s writing habits, they will find comfort in this pencil holder. We work hard to carry equipment for autistic children that kids genuinely want to use. Plus, it’s made of completely safe eco-friendly silicone, so you won’t have to worry if your child chews on it.
How to Use This Ergonomic Training Pencil
Just put your child’s thumb and index finger into the holes (designed to suit their fingers properly), and then hold the ring with their middle finger.
Effectively prevent the thumb and index finger cross; In this way, their three fingers can be fixed tightly.
Because they’re made from high-quality silicone, these pencil grips are absolutely safe and environmentally-friendly. Feel good about using our equipment for autistic children!

These grips are very helpful for my 4 year old granddaughter who is struggling
with fine motor skills. Please make bigger ones for crayons, markers, etc.
My son has a really poor grip when it comes to holding his pencil, and had to use a weighted one! But this device has helped him improve greatly!
The grips has helped my grandson with writing better and slowing down where his handwriting is more legible.
